Easter Revision Course for GCSE Maths
Here we are in 2018 and the countdown to GCSE exams is well underway! Following the success of last year’s Easter revision course, we will be running our intensive Maths workshops in April.
Our intensive Maths GCSE revision course covers all key topics of the GCSE Maths syllabus (all boards) and we’ll be working in small groups to ensure that each student is fully prepared for the forthcoming examinations. The maximum number of students in each Easter course session is 6.
One of the areas we talk frequently about here at Maths & Science Tuition, is confidence. A student that is confident in their ability to not just know, but to be able to recall facts and figures under exam pressure is virtually assured a top grade.
Understandably, insecurity breeds stress and nervousness, which combine to disastrous effect. This is completely avoidable with thorough GCSE exam preparation.
Our Easter GCSE revision course for Maths is designed to be fast-paced, covering not only key topics, but also the all-important element of exam technique. It’s about more than information recall after all. Students must be prepared to set out their answers in the required (or preferred) format that the examiner is looking for.
Again, getting this right is vital in achieving top GCSE exam grades.
The outcome of this intensive revision course is to ensure that each student has thoroughly revised and tested their knowledge with Muhammad Ali, the tutor, as well as amongst their peer group. This accelerated learning environment will fill knowledge gaps and allow students to be confident in their ability to achieve a high pass.
With that in mind, the Easter revision courses are aimed at students who are seeking to achieve a grade 6 (the old grade B) or above.
Dates for our Easter GCSE Revision Course for GCSE Maths are as follows:
Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th April 2018
Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th April 2018 (subject to course 1 being full)
Maximum class size is 6 students.
Each day’s class will begin promptly at 10am and run through to 5pm with a 1 hour break for lunch. Students are advised to bring a packed lunch (local amenities are only a few minutes away), although light refreshments such as drinks and snacks will be supplied throughout the day.
As you can see, that’s 12 hours of intensive study across 2 days, covering the whole Maths GCSE syllabus.
The price for the course is £480.
